Delphi Software Components
The Ultimate Color Picker Dialogs are inexpensive software components that can be incorporated into your application to give your users an easy way to select colors. The dialogs are distributed in source form and have been tested in Delphi 3, 4, 5, and 2005 (both Win32 and NET). They are also functional with some cosmetic defects in Delphi 2.
One version of the dialogs allows the selection from an almost infinite number of colors using the highly intuitive Hue-Saturation-Luminosity method.

The Hue-Saturation-Luminosity Dialog
Another version of the dialogs allows a user to quickly select from among the so-called browser safe color palette of 216 colors that can be displayed on an 8-bit video display without dithering.

The dialogs are distributed as shareware. You may evaluate the source files included in the download package for free, but if you use them you must purchase an inexpensive "General" license that allows you to include the dialogs in your binary applications (the price varies depending on what distribution rights you want - $5 for personal use, $25 for use in shareware, or $50 for commercial distribution). As a General license holder, you may distribute the source in your open-source application by obtaining a free "Recompile" license for that application. Details are specified in the License Agreement.
